we’re playing in denver tonight. first show post-recording. it’s exciting to actually be back in the live show mode. it’s strange to play guitar standing up when i’ve been sitting for two months. anyway, hopefully i remember how to play everything tonight. soundcheck was a little rough. it’s funny how easy it is for me to forget songs. i have the memory of a goldfish.

we sent all the files to shane in nashville this morning and he’ll start mixing on monday. we’re really excited with everything already, so hopefully when we can actually hear things mixed we’ll be even more ecstatic. alot of people have asked me what to expect from the new album and it’s really hard to give an answer other than “different”. it is definitely a louder and more epic record. we need to work up a bunch of the songs so we can start playing them at summer festivals.
